The most important reason is that your chandelier installation will require correctly hooking into your home's electrical system. A pro can handle the electrical part correctly for your chandelier installation, as well as bracing the chandelier correctly to make sure it doesn't fall after the chandelier installation.
What do I need to do before my chandelier replacement appointment?
Please make sure you have on hand the chandelier to be installed, and that it's assembled and ready for the chandelier installation work. When the pro arrives, they'll need to see the fixture that will be removed to make room for the new chandelier, the ready-to-install chandelier, and the wires and cords that came with it. If you have ceilings over 10 feet tall, please tell your pro in advance, because the job may require a special ladder, additional safety equipment, and an additional fee. Also, if your specific chandelier installation requires additional parts or labor to complete, the pro will let you know if there's an additional cost.
